Summer Days

Lately I've had a few days off work and all I wanted to do was get outside. I practically had to force myself to not lay in bed all day and watch Netflix. I ended up going on a few spontaneous adventures and the results were remarkable. A few friends and I drove about 30 minutes away to a lookout spot thats on the top of a huge hill. It overlooks the Missouri River and couldn't be more gorgeous. I couldn't help but feel like I was back in Arizona with the light brown dunes sporadically placed, making the place seem almost like a desert. It's also summer concert series time whoop! I made my way down to the Memorial Park concert for a bit, outdoor movies in Midtown are up and running, Jazz on the Green starts next week, and I'm seeing one of my favorite bands in concert on Saturday. One of my favorite ways to document all these adventures is with disposable cameras. Sure, they might not be the best quality (why use a disposable when I have my cannon?) but that's the whole point of it. They give photos a vintage feel and can produce some really cool results when used the right way.
