Art Fair, Latin Exchange Students and Sketchy Carnivals

Last night was of course another mostly spontaneous night on the town with my lovely ladies. We stared our adventure by stopping in at Omaha's art fair downtown. We could stare for ages at all paintings and sculptures that are scattered through the streets of Farnam. One tent that we spent a particularly long time at was a fella who sold vintage notebooks and bags. The notebooks pages were of handmade paper; the covers possessing intricate details that told stories related to greek goddesses and other old myths of time.

Courtney brought along her foreign exchange student who is from Italy. Ironic enough, we had italian food to eat. We showed her what to do at the salad bar (she was quite confused by the whole salad concept, later realizing that it was best to put the salad UNDER the toppings), and after trying some american made pizza, she said that it was actually better than some of the restaurants back home!

We were about to start heading home when we spotted that little carnival that I mentioned in my last post. This time however, we actually rode the rides! I got jerked and spun around so hard and had quite the headache by the time we were done. Definitely one of those things thats only fun while it lasts.
